Mealworms can convert single-use plastics into biodegradable compost

Single-use plastics threaten every part of the planet. It’s an existential crisis that requires global cooperation.

Our mission is to break down existing polystyrene and polyethylene through Darkling Beetle larvae (mealworms) into organic compost, and to create eco-friendly products from our waste.

Changing the world is possible.

It starts as local community-based changes, and has the potential to expand globally.

Ready to take the next step?

Whether you’re most comfortable contributing time to help achieve our goals or money to help us grow, we need you on our team.

Our vision is to replace all polystyrene and polyethylene in America with biologically-based, compostable materials.

Someday, countries will no longer create polystyrene and polyethylene products, and we can feed the mealworms an entirely plant-based diet. Until then, we need a solution for the plastic crisis.
